Visit historic, Old Town Benicia - a
friendly place on the Carquinez Strait - Highway 780, with charming
owner-operated shops featuring outstanding craftsmen and artisans,
museum-quality glassblowers, collectibles shops, art galleries, and
sidewalk and view dining. Visit our beautiful marina/yacht club,
historic bed and breakfast, modern hotel, Benicia state capitol
(1853-54), and walking tours of lovely, old restored homes.
Good with a paint brush or hammer? You don't have to be! There are many areas where we could use your
help (set design/constructions, set painting, props, costumes, makeup,
front desk, house manager, group sales, publicity, fundraising, and
computer skills). And we train on the job!
Enjoy sewing? Quilting?
Is carpentry your thing?
How about bartending
or being a host or hostess for
one of our shows?

learn to work backstage?
Our technical apprentice
program is educational
and fun.
Lest you think this
is all work, we have a lot of fun as well caroling on
First Street at Christmas, our annual holiday party,
floats in the 4th of July parades, entertainment in the
city park, Mardi Gras parades... we participate in all
of it!
Have a secret ambition to be on stage?
Auditions are open to all! Share in the satisfaction of
producing a show. Join in the monthly meetings or call for
information any time. Meeting times and places are also
announced in the local newspaper.
